Browse the designs in the various collections using the scroll bar on the left. You can view a large image of the design by clicking on the thumbnails. Clicking ‘Order’ will take you to a page that will include the dimensions and specifications of the invitation or announcement. This page also contains customer detail entry fields if you do opt to purchase the selected design. If not, you can return to browsing.
Simply click the ‘Order’ button for the preferred design and you will be directed to an order form. Select the colour variation you wish to purchase and enter details for checkout. Enter your exact wording into the corresponding field. Write what you wish to have written on the invitation or announcement, both front and back details if you have selected a double-sided product. You will be able to preview your entered information before confirming the order.
We suggest placing your wedding invitation order approximately 12-16 weeks prior to your wedding date. Generally wedding invitations are mailed approximately 6-8 weeks before the special day.
Please allow 14-28 days after we have received your final proof approval.
Once Letter Bird Lane has received your order with personalisation information and full payment, you will be emailed a PDF within 2-3 working days. You are required to check that all invitation details are correct and then kindly email your approval in writing along with the order number to approval@letterbirdlane.com.au.
We allow for two rounds of text changes to the design, however any following additional rounds of changes will incur a fee. If this fee is incurred, the finished product will not be posted until the amount has been paid.
Yes, all designs are professionally printed using a digital press.
Letter Bird Lane has a minimum of 50 per stationery order, as this is the most cost effective quantity to print when using a digital printing press.
We suggest ordering and extra 10-20 spare invitations or announcements. These will be useful if there are any last-minute extras, replacements, handwritten errors or keepsakes. We recommend definitely ordering more as any additional orders will require the minimum quantity of 50.
We love rounded corners for invitations and announcements so we offer this option for most designs. You can select this free option during checkout.
Envelopes are included with all stationery pieces, which require mailing, unless otherwise stated. The envelopes are white shimmer. Unfortunately we do not offer address labels at this point, but may do so in the future.

Our wedding invitation examples have been designed with the wedding ceremony and reception details, to keep the layout simple and less crowded. Should you choose to have the RSVP details printed onto the invitation, Letter Bird Lane will fit your required information accordingly. We do have co-ordinating RSVP cards available. They come as two options - a sophisticated reply card to be returned in an envelope and a unique postcard, which requires a postage stamp for return.
Each of Letter Bird Lane’s designs offer more than one colour options. You can easily select the preferred colour option during checkout. If your chosen design does not have a colour option you wish for, or you would like us to match a colour, please see the Custom Design page for information on receiving a Custom Colour quote or the Colour Matching fee.
Guests names can be printed onto invitations, be it engagement invitations or wedding invitations when selecting the guest personalisation option in the ordering process. This is additional fee of $1.00 per invitation. You will be required to supply an excel or word file with guest names written exactly as you would like them to appear eg. Mr & Mrs George, Lucy & Brian George, Lucy & Brian. When creating the excel or word file please ensure you use a new cell or line for each new name/s. We also offer this option for guests names to be printed onto the place cards. If you choose this option, you are also required to submit a separate excel or word file, with all first names of the guests written just as you would like them to appear on the place cards. This is an additional fee of $1 per place card. For any information about this option please contact info@letterbirdlane.com.au to discuss.
Sample packs are available to purchase for a fee, which is redeemable with your final order. We can send out an Event Pack for $10.00, which will include 3 stationery pieces from the baby, birthday and christening collections, plus a Colour Chart. We can also send out a Wedding Pack for $15.00, which will include 3 stationery pieces from different wedding collections, plus a Colour Chart. Please seem our Terms for more information.
We are happy to ship to international locations. You will be responsible for any applicable duties and taxes, which may incur once your parcel has reached the destination. We would appreciate if you could look into whether any of these will apply to you, before placing an order.
